Welcome to the website of the Orkney Craft Industries Association. Here you will see examples of our members' work, representing a wide range of skills - Orkney is rich in talent. The association has over 25 members working in the crafts field, both in traditional and contemporary ways. Whether your interest is in jewellery, ceramics, furniture, textiles, glass, photography, printing, you will find something of note on the crafts page. Some of our members have taken pages on this site, while others have their own sites, with details available here.

For those visiting Orkney, the association runs a shop in the summer months in Kirkwall. We also have a craft trail, for which we produce a brochure which is available from many local outlets including the Orkney Tourist Offices. For those interested in the association itself - perhaps with a view to joining - we are a group of individual companies whose common bond is that we derive our main income from our craft and produce work which reaches a quality standard. Please see the contact page if you require details.
